DAISY Award

O.R. Nurses, Inc. has joined the DAISY Award Foundation, in collaboration with the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) , in order to recognize our extraordinary nurses. As the very first staffing agency to take part in this unique award program, we are extremely excited to share some details with you.

Each quarter, one nurse will be selected to receive the DAISY Award. The honoree will receive a certificate commending her or him for being an “Extraordinary Nurse”, as well as a beautiful sculpture called “A Healer’s Touch”, hand-carved by artists of the Shona Tribe in Africa. Each award recipient will also receive a special DAISY Award pin to wear on their ID badge, along with an informational DVD about the DAISY Award to share with friends and family.

Nominations

All nurses employed with O.R. Nurses Inc. are eligible for this award. Nominations can be made by patients, co-workers, or nurse supervisors.
