Nurse Testimonials

Stephanie and I have been working for OR Inc. for a little over a year. We have been nursing for 15 years and have worked for many other Nursing Companies. ORI is the most professional, efficient and honest agency we have worked with. Someone is always available to answer questions and address concerns. We are treated like family and the Staff's attitudes are addicting and contagious. The transition to an assignment  is simple and smooth and the accomodations are excellent. We are in Santa Barbara, CA having a GREAT time! The scenery and weather are AWESOME!!!!!!! We look forward to future assignments. So, where are we off to next? Barney Jones, RN and Stephanie Ridge, RN

I recently took a 6 month assigment to Hawaii through OR Inc. It was incredible!! Perfect weather year round, beautiful beaches everywhere, and the hospital and staff were great! Thanks to Patty and Bo for all that you do. It was great experience, that was made possible by you guys. Thanks again! Angela McCullough, RN

I have worked as a travel nurse for several years. I can honestly say that my dealing with OR Nurses, Inc. and my recruiter, Bo, have been great. I called and said I wanted to go to South Carolina. Bo had me a job in a week. I am enjoying the beautiful weather in SC. I took a day and went to the beach. I have traveled with other companies and found them wanting. The crew at OR Nurses are fair in dealing with the staff.  I would recommend them to others, and I do....Happy Traveling!  Janice Padgett, RN

"O.R. Nurses, Inc. did an awesome job of getting me the assignment of my dreams! During my travel assignment in Lafayette, CO, I've been able to go snowboarding every weekend and ice skating at a rink near where I'm staying.  I have been to Estes Park twice and each time I've seen numerous big and beautiful elk.   I've also enjoyed snowmobiling and snowshoeing in Rocky Mountain National Park.  If you love snow, this is the place to be!"Michele Porteous, RN

I, Cindy, have been with O.R. Nurses, Inc. full time for three years and wish I had gone to work for them before.  Mary Jane and I are currently working in California.  We have seen several nurses without rental cars and apartments. Many of the nurses we've seen are staying in motels and they are unable to speak to their travel recruiter when they try to contact their agency.  We were lucky our furnished apartment is in a gated community - it's very, very nice! It was ready and waiting on us when we arrived in California. We have never experienced any of those problems with O.R. Nurses, Inc. Cindy Hays, RN & Mary Jane Carey, RN

“I started working with O.R. Nurses, Inc. in January 1999 to supplement my full time job. So many opportunities for work presented themselves with this company that in May of 2001 I went fulltime for them. Being a full time agency nurse allows me to work the hours I choose and to make top pay for the hard work I do. O.R. Nurses, Inc. consists of a very professional and caring office staff who works for you, the employee. Everyone in the office is kind, courteous and helpful – and somehow able to know everyone that works for them – which is over 325 strong now! Working with other O.R. Inc. staff in the field has also shown me what a top-notch company this is. Thank you O.R. Nurses, Inc. for making what I love doing – nursing – easier for me to do!”
Michele Pike, RN

It would be difficult to say enough good things about O.R. Nurses, Inc.  The crew there cares about you as a person, not just as an employee.  My family had some medical problems recently and Patty (my Travel Recruiter) would call daily, not to talk about my assignment, but just to ask how things were going with my family.  I have worked for other companies and after you took an assignment with them you could never get in touch with your recruiter.  However, Patty and the rest of the staff at O.R. Nurses, Inc. keep in contact with you, sometimes just calling to see how you are doing.  It feels more like you are working for a big family, rather than a company.  I am very proud to work for O.R. Nurses, Inc.  "A company that cares."  Lucian Lott, RN

Career wise, working for O.R. Nurses, Inc. is one of the best decisions I have ever made.  O.R. Nurses, Inc. is a very professional and caring organization that has always placed me in positions that were challenging but never compromised me or my patient care.  O.R. Nurses, Inc. has always tried to not only meet the clients' needs, but to also make sure that my needs were met. Over the years, I have worked for many organizations and can truly say that none of them can top my association with O.R. Nurses, Inc.  I really value my position with the company and highly recommend O.R. Nurses, Inc. to clients for their nursing staff needs and to nurses who are interested in a positive change.  Gail Walker, RN

“This was my first experience in dealing with an agency and O.R. Nurses, Inc. has been nothing less than excellent. The very professional staff just goes out of their way to make sure your every need is met. I would like to thank the entire staff for making this the best job in the world! Everyone from Pamela to all who assist in helping me with scheduling, to Linda in payroll who makes sure I’m being paid for my hours. To sum it up, O.R Nurses, Inc. is a wonderful place to work.”
Patrick Alston, LPN

"The travel coordinators were on the ball for me when my travel assignment in Santa Barbara, CA became available.  They worked hard in helping me get the travel assignment that best suited what I was looking for.  There are fresh fruits and vegetables available all year and beautiful beaches alongside magnificent mountains.  All that and a great hospital to work at!  "I love it!"  Mitchell Graves, RN
